Pachycormus

This family of caudiciform plants is native to Baja California, Mexico. Caudex is used by plants to store water for reuse during periods of drought. The leaves bloom at the apex of long woody stems. Being native to countries with a warm climate, these plants prefer environments with plenty of sun, high temperatures and in any case not below 10 °. They are caudiciform plants and therefore do not require frequent watering; in caudex they have water reserves.
