Notocactus muricatus f. crested

Like all crested plants, each specimen is different from each other. It has dense, irregular ribs, sprinkled with multiple areoles. The white spines are short and thin. It hardly blooms, due to its crested shape. Looking at this N. muricatus, we can see the resemblance to a huge fan.
