Notocactus haselbergii

Also known as Parodia haselbergii; it is a small, fast-growing, solitary cactus. It has a spherical shape, slightly concave at the apex, of a bright green color, almost entirely hidden by a thick "down" of long silvery white spines. The flowering season, which can last for months, begins at the end of winter and generates small and beautiful flowers of a bright orange color.
