Neowerdermannia vorwerkii

A very small cactus, that reaches 10 cm in diameter, of an elongated globose shape. The epidermis is green, and the shade varies from light to dark, based on the sun exposure. The brownish spines are slightly curved. The flowers bloom between May and June: the color varies from white to light pink, with a darker streak. Synonym: Rebutia vorwerkii.
