Neoporteria hankeana var. taltalensis

This cactus has a typically spherical shape and a bright green body, equipped with ribs, similar to tubercles, from which not too long spines emerge, that are golden and arranged in a star shape, which darken at the apex. In late spring, it blooms with funnel-shaped flowers, typical of this family, varying in shades from pink to fuchsia.
