Neobuxbaumia euphorbioides f. crested variegated

Absolutely unique exemplar, in which are enclosed together two of the characteristics that distinguish the rarity of a plant: it takes on a crested shape, therefore it is characterized by a compact fan-shaped arrangement and by a not perfectly geometric pattern, to which is added a wonderful variegation, the presence of clearer areas in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent. The combination of the two peculiarities makes this specimen really rare and, for this reason, extremely coveted by collectors. In its normal form it is a marvellous columnar specimen, formed by a grey-greenish stem rather slender and without ramifications, adorned by well marked longitudinal ribs and by thin and brownish central spines, among which stands out a single central spine brownish-yellow longer and perfectly straight.
