Description:
It is a succulent plant with fleshy, narrow and elongated leaves, sometimes dotted with a purple color that forms a splendid cushion on the surface. It is particular for its turnip-shaped root, this plant is often grown together with the caudiciforms. In summer it produces purple pink flowers with a white center.

Plant care:
Avoid direct sunlight during summer since it can burn its leaves. However, morning sunlight is perfect for them, until 12.00 / 13.00. It prefers a bright location all year round.
It adequates easily to any temperature, withstands temperatures even down to -5 ° C if in dry soil conditions.
Water moderately but only when the soil is completely dry. It is enough to water the plant once a week in spring, reduce watering to once every two months in summer, and suspend it completely in winter.
The best soil is a well-draining one, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.
They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
