Art. 52903
Beautiful cactus with a globose stem, slightly depressed at the apex, equipped with prominent cylindrical tubercles among which protrudes an abundant and soft whitish fluff. From roundish areolas come out needle-like radial spines, greyish and radiated, and central awl spines, very robust and straight, facing outwards with their tips shaded of reddish-brown. The overall appearance of this cactus is very showy and pleasant thanks to the contrast between the delicacy of the fluff and the fierce firmness of the stiff quills! In spring, at the apex of M. temorisensis, pretty small fuchsia flowers with yellow center bloom, arranged around the apex, almost as if wanting to crown it, for an effect undoubtedly of extreme ornamental impact!
