Mammillaria tayloriorum

Cactaceae with a globose shape, slightly depressed at the apex, which with the growth can tend to become columnar. Provided with rather pronounced conical tubercles and marked by a slight white down, the opaque and dark green of the stem contrasts pleasantly with the candid appearance due to the spines: very similar are the radial spines, arranged radial. The central ones, only slightly longer, create, on the whole, an almost completely white view, where the stem is hidden and only the brownish shades at the apex of the youngest thorns attract the attention. The perfect symmetry and elegant delicacy of M. tayloriorum certainly have no equal!
