Mammillaria standleyi

Generally it is a solitary cactus, which over time can form large tufts almost 1 meter wide. It has globose stems of a light green color, covered by conical tubercles, from which small radial white spines and slightly longer and more robust central spines of a reddish brown color emerge. During the flowering period, it blooms with small funnel-shaped flowers of a red-purple color.
