Mammillaria spinosissima f. variegated

Like all variegated plants, M. spinosissima variegata has natural color variations, that fade towards yellow and light green. The numerous spines take on various colors from yellow to brown and completely cover the cylindrical stem. This unusual plant produces a wonderful crown of magenta flowers during spring.
