Mammillaria sanchez-mejoradae

M. sanchez-mejoradae is a very rare cactus exemplar and for this reason much sought after by collectors. It has a small globose stem, entirely covered by thorns that look like feathers. The conical tubercles of intense green color are well protruding and at the apex of the latter are the white areoles from which emerge its numerous spines. They are white or cream-white, radiated and curved towards the stem. During the flowering period, this beautiful cactus will give us delicate daisies of pale pink or cream, with a dark red midline.
