Mammillaria pseudoperbella

It is a very particular small cactus, which does not reach large dimensions but is highly appreciated for its delicate and exactly symmetrical characteristics. The stem has a globular shape, which becomes slightly cylindrical with growth, and looks completely white thanks to the very thick microscopic spines that surround it; these spines are almost glassy, with a silky and candid appearance, also due to the down present between the tubercles arranged in a spiral way. In the flowering season, this monochrome is pleasantly interrupted by the corolla of small carmine pink flowers that bloom at the top of the plant, creating some sort of a crown.
