Mammillaria polyedra

M. polyedra is a variety that is highly appreciated for its attractive appearance. It has a green globose/cylindrical stem with protruding tubercles. On each tubercle is positioned the white, downy areola from which its radial and central spines emerge. The radials are short and brown in color with black tips. The central spines, on the other hand, are more robust and long, brown or brownish with reddish hues. This cactaceae can not be missing from your collection.
