Mammillaria pectinifera

It is a real miniature cactus, whose globular body does not exceed 4 cm in diameter, and for this reason it is extraordinary to observe how in such a small body it is possible to have such a wealth of details: against the dark green stem pleasantly contrast thick white thorns, thin and microscopic in length, perfectly combed (hence the name of the species) and flattened along the body of the cactus. The effect that is created is that of a small jewel of an impressive symmetry, which is broken when, around the sides of the stem, marvelous pink-white flowers bloom with darker central stripes, which add a touch of vivacity to the solemnity of Mammillaria pectinifera!
