Mammillaria pectinifera

M. pectinifera is a small, globe-shaped cactus. Its green stem is entirely covered by thorns, these come out from areoles placed over the tubercles that make up the stem. Its microscopic spines, soft and flattened, white and combed, give the plant a truly unique look. Its beautiful flowers are white or pink and have a central stripe of darker color. The flowering period is from December to March.
