Mammillaria marcosii

It is a slow-growing cactus that clusters easily. In nature it can reach up to 25 cm in diameter, while cultivated in pots it remains compact. It has a dark green stem, covered by numerous cylindrical tubercles, about 1.5 cm long, from which bicolor spines emerge: the radial spines are thin and flexible, of a creamy white color, while the central oens are reddish, they are more rigid, curved at the tip. During the flowering season it produces campanulate inflorescences of a yellow-cream color with a pink throat.
