Art. 54144
A solitary globular cactus, slightly depressed at the apex, which over time can form small suckers at the base. It is a low-growing plant that does not exceed 7 cm in height. On its bright green stem, cylindrical tubercles are formed with cream-yellow areoles, from which numerous white spines emerge, that are soft to the touch, up to 6 mm long, densely covering the whole body of the plant. In spring, M. humboldtii produces a beautiful crown of flowers, that range in color from pink-fuchsia to purple.
