A beautiful specimen of cactus with a globular shape that can also become cylindrical as it grows. A very sought-after plant native to Mexico, specifically the areas of Guerrero, Morelos and Jalisco. It has a green stem with well marked tubercles, above which are white and fluffy areoles. From the latter its spines emerge: the radials are radially arranged, of white colour, thin while the central ones are less numerous (2-3), more robust, of dark reddish brown colour and are longer than the radial spines. The flowers of M. hubermulleri bloom at the apex of the stem and have delicate petals of light pink colour with a vertical central line in fuchsia. The delicate flowers with their colors create a strong contrast with the stem of the plant, giving it at the same time a touch of delicacy. This specimen of Mammillaria should not be missing in your collection!
