Mammillaria heyderi var. applanata

It is a low-growing plant, characterized by having a high resistance to cold, if kept in dry conditions. The globular, flattened, green, stem has conical tubercles and numerous white spines. Flowering occurs in spring, blooming with numerous tubular-shaped flowers, which range in color from creamy yellow to pink.
