This Mammillaria looks like a cactus with cylindrical stems, at the base of which small lateral branches are created. The contrast between the bright green stem and the downy areoles, reminiscent of cotton, is spectacular. From its downy tubercles, even if it seems to have almost no spines, tiny crushed spines emerge. In summer, embedded in the down of the plant, small pink-purple flowers come out.
