Mammillaria fraileana f. variegated

The variegated shape of this cactaceae has yellowish shades in places where there is a lack of chlorophyll; these shades will never be identical in plants making each of them unique and for this reason very appreciated by collectors. In its normal form it is a cactus with narrow cylindrical stems and grouped at the base. Green skin tends to redden when exposed to too much sun. From its areoles emerge thin, combed and white spines and only one central hooked spine of dark brown colour. In the period of its flowering, in spring/summer, beautiful white-pink flowers sprout that crown it.
