Art. 44806
This cactacea, also known as the "owl's eye cactus". It has a stem that develops from globular to cylindrical shape, with a slightly depressed apex. Its stem is covered with conical tubercles, between which a light white down is formed, while at the apex its spines grow: white radial spines and brownish or black central ones, which are longer and more rigid. This species is known to develop dichotomous forms, as it is not uncommon for the stem to divide at the apex, forming two separate heads. Flowering occurs between spring and summer, blooming, at the apex of the stems, with a crown of creamy white flowers.
