Mammillaria elegans

It is a perennial cactus with a solitary habit. It has a globular stem and the epidermis is entirely covered by numerous dense tubercles. The spines, that come out of these tubercles, are combed and of a white color. It blooms with small bright pink flowers, that crown it.
