Mammillaria duoformis

M. duoformis is a slow-growing cactaceae exemplar that tends to tuft creating new suckers. It has a cylindrical stem of bluish green color, equipped with ribs and marked tubercles, above which are the woolly white areoles. From the latter emerge the radial and central spines that cover the entire stem : the radial spines arranged in a radial pattern are white-yellowish, thin and numerous while the central ones are more robust, longer and light brown with dark shades on the tips. Some are slightly curved. The flowering period of M. duoformis is summer, in this period it will give us beautiful bell-shaped flowers of intense pink fuchsia, forming a crown at the apex of the stem.
