Mammillaria crassior

A small cactacea plant of easy cultivation, with both solitary and clustered habit. Its green cylindrical stem is completely wrapped in dense, very long, white-yellow spines, which are concentrated on the apex. It is an easy-to-grow plant, when exposed to the direct sun, tends to take on bronze shades, which favors spring flowering even more. The tubular-shaped flowers form a ring around the stem, and are of beautiful bright colors, which vary from pink to fuchsia.
