Mammillaria crassimammillis

Peculiar cactacea with a beautiful dark green stem and a spherical shape, in which what immediately catches the eye are the large rhomboid and slightly pointed tubercles, so prominent as to give the species the name of "crassimammillis", from ancient latin Latin "large breasts ". At the intersection between those there may sometimes be a slight white fluff. At the apex of each tubercle, a few spines of variable length protrude from small areoles, arranged radially and slightly curved, generally light in color but tending to fade towards black at the tips.
