Mammillaria carretii

Mammillaria carretii is a sought-after variety of mammillaria that expands by igniting and creating new suckers. Its globose stem is equipped with tubercles and is green in colour. It has numerous radial and central spines: the former are short, yellowish-white while the latter are longer and darker. The flowers of M. carretti have delicate creamy white petals and give the plant an additional charm.
