Mammillaria bocasana

Mammillaria bocasana is known also as the "Powder Puff Cactus" for its silky white hairs, that cover it entirely, which makes it look like a cotton ball. Generally, its spherical stems grow in clusters, and brownish hooked spines sprout at the ends of its tubercles. In late spring /summer it blooms with funnel-shaped flowers of different colors, varying from cream-white to pink.
