Lobivia 'Stern von Emsbach'

Wonderful hybrid obtained from Lobivia densispina, with which it has multiple common properties: its globose stem of a beautiful dark-purple green tends with growth to become slightly cylindrical and to become abundantly accestire, maintaining dimensions of a few centimeters. Equipped with little protruding longitudinal ribs, Lobivia is covered by short whitish spines, thin and disposed to completely wrap the entire stem. The real innovative point of ː 'Stern von Emsbach' (literally "star of Emsbach", a German locality) is its flower: the large gorge full of cream-colored pistils contrasts pleasantly with the many dark yellow or orange filiform petals, for a highly showy final effect, just like a star!
