Lobivia shaferi f. crested

A rare low-growing cactus of an unusual shape, which for its fan-shaped crest makes each specimen unique and therefore highly sought after by green collectors. Its stem, of a greyish-green color, is covered with numerous tubercles and areoles, slightly downy, which are present along the coasts. The radial spines are almost transparent, while the central ones are much darker.
