Lobivia pugionacantha

It is a small globular cactus with a depressed apex and a green stem. Along the pronounced ribs you can see the slightly hairy areoles, from which yellow and thick spines, slightly curved towards the stem, arise. The flowers of the Lobivia are large and very showy, of almost all the colors of the rainbow: yellow, fuchsia, pink, red and purple. It is an easy-to-grow plant, which makes it suitable even for beginners.
