Lobivia famatimensis f. crestata

The crested shape of a cactus presents the fan crest that is unique in every plant and for this reason it is highly appreciated and sought after by collectors around the world. In its normal form L. famatimensis is a small cactus considered one of the most beautiful and distinctive, characterized by a concave stem at the apex and a greenish color that is dyed purple in full light. From its thick and numerous tubercles grow equally large spines, yellowish or orange, which cover the whole stem and resemble, due to their arrangement, small spiders. The inflorescences bloom at the apex of the plant, are relatively large and take on yellow and reddish colors, with pleasant warm shades.
