The monstrous shape of this cactus presents anomalies of shape such as asymmetries, reliefs or lack of thorns; characteristics that will make each specimen unique in its kind as you will never find two identical monstrous plants. In its normal form it is a globose and solitary cactus slightly depressed at the apex. It has a stem equipped with irregular tubercles where are placed the white and fluffy areoles from which come out short and thin spines. In the flowering period, at the apex of the plant, you can admire its beautiful bell-shaped flowers of scarlet red color.
