Lobivia aurea var. shaferi f. mostruosa

Small cactaceae with a monstrous shape, consisting of asymmetries and mutations in the appearance that creates each unique specimen and for this reason very appreciated by collectors and lovers of cactus. Its green stem which differs from the standard shape due to the almost lack of thorns and when exposed to intense light, takes on purple hues. During the flowering period it can generate small yellow flowers with an unusual (monstrous) appearance.
