Lobivia aurea

Also known as Echinopsis aurea, it has a dark green stem, that can be spherical or elongated, and is characterized by the ribs. These ribs are covered with brown areoles, from which combed brown-black spines with yellowish tips come out. In late spring, it blooms with bright yellow or white flowers.
