Lobivia amblayensis

Also known by its scientific name Echinopsis haematanth, it is a small compact clustered cactus. Its black-green stem has numerous downy areoles, from which short spines emerge, that vary in color from a creamy white to black. In spring, it blooms with flowers of a characteristic bright orange color, which remain open for 3-4 days.
