Lithops schwantesii

A perennial succulent, discovered by M.H.G. Schwantes - a German botanist, expert on African Aizoaceae. This "living stone" has a body, that varies in color from gray, pink, yellow to brown, with the veins, ranging from pink-gray to brown. The almost united, fleshy leaves are separated in the middle. L. schwantesii is very sensitive to water excess and humidity, therefore it requires the utmost attention in cultivation.
