This 'living stone' is a very rare succulent plant sought after by green collectors. In nature it grows under bushes in granite rocks, imitating both their color and texture to blend in even better. Lithops has no stem to minimize the loss of water from the surface. The upper part of the leaves has the protuberances with darker grooves. In autumn, the diurnal flowers bloom; are of a yellow color, sometimes with a white center. Simultaneously with the blossoming of the flower two new leaves appear and the old ones dry up and disappear completely.
