Description:

The variegated shape of this succulent has yellowish spots in the areas of the epidermis where there is a lack of chlorophyll; stains and shades that will never be identical in different plants thus making each of them unique and much sought after by collectors around the world. A succulent known as "living stone", for the shape similar to a pebble and the colors that tend to blend easily with the surrounding rocky environment; in this case, the variety "julii" (whose name was chosen in honor of the German botanist Julius Deremberg) takes on light gray tones, sometimes whitish, to camouflage with the typical limestone areas of quartz from which it comes. Its fleshy leaves are arranged in pairs, and on the top show numerous deep veins of darker almost black color. From the crack between the two leaves in autumn, bloom beautiful white daisies.

Plant care:

It likes very bright places, however, avoid direct sunlight during the hottest hours of the day. It prefers environments with low humidity.

It is preferable to keep it at mild temperatures and never below 10 °C, for this reason it is recommended to shelter it during the winter period.

Water moderately in spring and summer but only when the soil is completely dry and suspend watering completely in winter.

The best soil is a well-draining one, even better if further enriched with inert materials such as pumice, sand or lapilli.

They do not need frequent fertilization, it is sufficient to dilute the fertilizer with watering once a year.
