Lithops hookeri var. subfenestrata

Commonly known as "living stone", this succulent comes from South Africa, and in its natural habitat it grows in small colonies on mainly rocky areas, in which it camouflages perfectly. It is distinguished from L. hookeri for its opaque dark brownish leaves, almost assuming a glossy appearance. From the small slot, that separates the leaves, we can admire its beautiful yellow flowers, that bloom in autumn.
