L. hallii is part of the category of succulents considered "living stones" for the shape and color that take on its two very fleshy leaves, separated by a central septum. The foliage does not exceed the three centimeters of height, arranged in a sort of flat inverted cone at the apex. The epidermis is light brown enriched with darker streaks, sometimes further adorned with reddish margins. From the small fissure that separates the leaves we can admire large white and delicate flowers that bloom in autumn.
