Jatropha fissispina

It is a shrubby succulent, that generally does not exceed one meter in height, consisting of a grayish-green trunk, covered with rather long tubercles, from which two or three short and black thorns emerge. At the apex of the thorny stem green branches sprout out, with palmate leaves, formed by 5 or 6 lobes, consisting of toothed edges. It has female flowers, all surrounded by small, yellowish male flowers, grouped in clusters.
