The variegated shape of this plant presents the typical yellow-whitish, or sometimes even pinkish, zones in the exact points where the chlorophyll is absent; such zones will never be identical from one plant to another, thus making each exemplar absolutely unique and, for this reason, very sought after by collectors. This perennial succulent plant is a cultivar with unknown origins, difficult to describe because of its great variety. Its thick leaves are characterized by flattened tips and form an irregular agglomeration that expands in all directions. The epidermis may get a color varying from the pale green to the dark-brownish green, up to take a pleasant and ornamental reddish colouration during the winter months.
