The crested form of this plant is characterized by the typical fan shape, which makes each specimen different from all others. Its uniqueness makes these kind of plants extremely sought after by collectors all over the world! In its normal form it’s a globular solitary cactus, slightly eleongated with age, which over time creates pups at the base. It has a beautiful bright green stem and tubercles with stiff and curved yellowish-brown spines.
