Gymnocalycium pugionacanthum

This globular cactus is highly sought after by succulent lovers. It has a globose stem with dark green tubercles. Its spines, arranged in a radial pattern, are yellow in colour and over time become greyish and more robust. The beautiful flowers of G. pugionacanthum bloom at the apex of the stem, are creamy white in colour and give the plant a touch of delicacy.
