Gymnocalycium prochazkianum

This globular cactus has white areoles from which few spines branch off and a stem with flattened ribs and small ridges. The flowers are very large and showy, they are funnel-shaped and of soft shades ranging from white to pink. While giving majestic flowers, the plant tends to remain small-sized and therefore is well suited to growing in pots in reduced spaces.
