Gymnocalycium piltziorum

Beautiful exemplar of globe-shaped cactus native to Argentina. Its stem is green-brown or purplish and has embossed tubercles above which are found the fluffy white areoles. From these areoles emerge its long and resistant greyish thorns, 3 for each areola. During the flowering period, in spring, the flowers of light pink color almost cream that give a touch of delicacy to the environments where the plant is placed.
