Gymnocalycium nataliae

It is a solitary, globular, green cactus, which, when exposed to the sun, tends to become purplish. It is formed by very evident ribs and tubercles, from which very downy areoles emerge. From the areoles thin, combed light brown spines sprout. At the apex, it blooms with large and beautiful white-pink flowers.
