Gymnocalycium multiflorum

It is a small, globular cactus of a bluish-green color. The well-defined ribs have oval white areoles, that are spaced apart, from which long combed and robust spines come out; they are of a cream yellow color with a reddish tinge at the base. The name 'multiflorum' derives from the fact, that it blooms with multiple funnel-shaped flowers, of a white color with pink margins.
