Gymnocalycium megalothelos

It is a small solitary and globular cactus with a bright green stem. It has few tubercles per rib, which have downy oval white areoles, well spaced apart. Combed and thick yellow spines are formed at the apex of each tubercle. It has the feature of having huge funnel-shaped white flowers that bloom at the top of the plant.
